| Music |
The 9.30 Parish Eucharist on a Sunday morning offers an opportunity for the choir to sing a variety of music (traditional and good modern) suited to the season of the Church's Year.
The 11.15 Service on Sunday has simpler music and hymns.
We welcome young people from our school who are learning instruments to give concerts.
We welcome visiting organists / Organists Associations who would like to play or practice on the restored Walker organ. It is used to accompany services and there has recently been an improvisation class offered to local organists. The organ is also available for practice and for teaching.
There is a Broadwood grand piano in good order, which is well maintained and tuned.
Similarly we also welcome a variety of visiting musicians (ranging from Salvation Army Bands and Swiss choirs to local musicians) who wish to make music together or rehearse for and give concerts.
The church has a good acoustic.
We are always keen to welcome new singers to our choir (please contact Kathy on 771217 if you are interested).
